CESLC Insider: Caring For A Loved One Living with Dementia

Join us as we welcome Kathleen McGuinness, director of community relations with SmithLife Home Care, and Colleen Kemp director of the Jewish Council for the Aging Gorlitz Kensington Club. McGuinness and Kemp will lead a discussion on the different types of dementia and similarities and differences in care.

Kathleen McGuiness

Kathleen McGuinness is the director community relations for SmithLife Home Care.
McGuinness is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and End-of-Life Specialist who has worked and trained with Montgomery County Hospice.

 

 

Colleen Kemp

Colleen Kemp is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a Certified Recreation Therapist. She is the director of the Jewish Council for the Aging Gorlitz Kensington Club which is a 2021 Leading Age Maryland Award-Winning Social Model Adult Day Care Program for people who are living with diagnosed mild cognitive impairment and early dementia.
