Join us for this in-person event as Certified Senior Downsizing experts Jan Brito and Laura Quigley of Capital Senior Solutions discuss the many benefits of downsizing, and useful tips and resources to help of scale your belongings to fit your lifestyle.

Downsizing can be a difficult and emotionally charged experience that requires a considerable amount of planning and support from loved ones. It’s natural to acquire more possessions the longer we stay in one place and letting go of a family home and sentimental belongings can be quite overwhelming. Guidance from professionals can help make this transition less stressful and make for a more positive experience.

Jan Brito is a native Washingtonian, who resides in Montgomery County. She holds the elite Certified Senior Housing Professional™ certification and is a Certified Senior Downsizing Coach. She also holds the Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES) designation and is also a part of the 3% of Realtors nationwide who have earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation (known as the PhD of Real Estate). Jan is a true advocate for her older clients.

Laura Quigley is a real estate professional with over 25 years of sales and management experience. After working with her own family members who needed to downsize and make the transition to senior living, Laura decided to become a Certified Senior Housing Professional™ and a Certified Senior Downsizing Coach. She also holds the Certified Real Estate Specialist (CRS) and Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES) designations.
