CESLC Insider: What You Need To Know Before Selecting A Home Health Aide

Join us for our final CESLC Insider program of 2021 and learn what you need to know before selecting a Home Health Aide.

Kathleen McGuinness, Director Community Relations for SmithLife Home Care will lead an educational discussion so you can make a more informed decision if and when the need arises. McGuinness will discuss certifications that are available, the role of a Geriatric Care Manager, the value of SAGE certification and how to determine how much help you or your loved one needs.

McGuinness is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and End-of-Life Specialist who has worked and trained with Montgomery County Hospice.

HFAM is authorized by the Board of Social Work Examiners in Maryland to sponsor social work continuing education learning activities and maintains full responsibility for this program. This training qualifies for 1 Category 1 continuing education unit.
