Join us for the third in a series of seven classes designed for new (but open to all) board members who would like to deepen their leadership experience. Classes will address different areas of the organization’s operations and are designed to provide board members with a broader understanding of Charles E. Smith Life Communities.

Quality 101
This course will cover four categories
- Overview of deficiencies and F Tags (which are the most common) and a discussion of the top 10 deficiencies.
- Survey process – including the number of surveys, length of time and complaint process
- Scope and Severity – a Chart of Definitions will be provided to include deficiencies from B – IJ. Discussion will include a review of the implications of each type of deficiency and examples.
- Internal Survey preparation – Discussion will include information about our year round preparation and committee work and how we prepare and the QAPI process.
