NORTH BETHESDA, Md. (July 8, 2026) Ninety-four percent of loved ones of residents at Hebrew Home of Greater Washington would recommend Charles E. Smith Life Communities’ flagship skilled nursing center, according to the results of the 2025 Maryland Nursing Home Family Experience of Care Survey.

This scoring exceeds averages for nursing homes in the state of Maryland by 22 percent and in Montgomery County by 19 percent.

“What an honor to hear that nearly every one of the loved ones surveyed would recommend us to others,” said Vice President of Operations Brenda L. Rice. “These results speak to the dedication of every person on our team, from our medical team and nursing associates to all those working behind the scenes to ensure quality standards are exceeded.”

Hebrew Home of Greater Washington outearned the statewide averages in every domain included in the survey: staff and administration, care provided to residents, food and meals, autonomy and residents’ rights, physical aspects of the nursing home, activities, and security and residents’ personal rights.

The Maryland Nursing Home Family Experience of Care Survey is an annual initiative to measure the experience and satisfaction of family members and other responsible parties of residents in Maryland nursing homes.

More than 200 nursing homes participated in the 2025 survey.
