This year’s symposium will focus on the importance of social connections, the negative impact of ageism and hot topics in health policy related to aging, with critical insights and helpful strategies to address the needs of older adults.
The symposium is made possible by the generosity of Drs. Ellen and Stuart Lessans, in memory of Stuart’s parents, Sara and Samuel J. Lessans.
Keynote speakers Allison Gilbert, Emmy award-winning journalist and author, and Susan Pinker, award-winning journalist and psychologist, will shed light on the emotional and psychological facets of aging.
“We are honored to mark this milestone year for the symposium with dynamic speakers and timely topics directly impacting care for older adults,” said Dr. Elisa Gil-Pires, CESLC executive vice president of medical affairs/chief medical officer and medical director. “As we continue to navigate the inherent complexities around serving older adults, this event offers clinicians insights they can immediately apply to enhance care for those they serve.”
The annual symposium brings together healthcare professionals, caregivers and other aging services providers for a full day of learning and networking.
